Baked bacon – cooked

I’m now cooking bacon in the oven!
And yes! It’s as simple as that!

To be honest, I probably did not invent anything, but it would greatly simplify my life on the weekend. While the bacon is cooking, I allow myself a coffee and the newspaper, or an episode of a TV series, and half an hour later, I have bacon ready, without having to spend 10 minutes washing my stove. And I do not even need to take care of it.

In fact, to be honest, I did not even cook the bacon myself, it’s my lover who took care of it! I do not like being attacked by my food …

The advantages of baking
The advantages are many! In fact, I do not even find disadvantages … ..

No need to wash the stove after cooking (and no equivalent damage in the oven!)
No need to stay next to the stove to monitor
No bacon attack on my clothes or my person (or my lover actually!)
No need to shout after my lover not to throw hot fat in the sink because it’s really not good (neither for the sink nor for plumbing and sewer)
More uniform cooking and very straight slices
Larger quantity cooked without increasing cooking time
So, does that tell you to try?

  • Put back in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  • Watch for the cooking and take out the bacon as soon as it is cooked to your liking.
