A very simple dish that is nonetheless incredibly tasty: corn on the cob with butter. Toothpicks inserted into the ends make eating a lot easier.

Corn on the cob with butter
In the supermarket, I walked along kitchen corncobs from sweetcorn. Since I have never prepared it myself, it was high time.
Thoroughly wash the corn on the cob and halve. If you get the corn directly from the field, of course, the whole green has to be removed.
Clean corn on the cob and cut in half
Put the corn in a saucepan with lightly salted, cold water and put it on. Once the water boils, the corncobs take 10-15 minutes to cook.
At the end of the cooking time, melt the butter without it turning brown.
Using a ladle, remove boiled corncobs from the water, drain and place on paper towels. As you can see in the photo, stick the toothpicks in the corncobs.

Spread the liquid butter over the corncob and season with salt and pepper.
Note: Corncobs with liquid butter just need to be eaten. The toothpicks do not burn you and your fingers stay clean. The corncobs, for example, are an ideal accompaniment to grilling .
